Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the art and science of using pure essential oils extracted from leaves, stems, fruits, woods, resins, and flowers of plants and trees to relax, balance and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit.
Essential oils are typically blended to create different "recipes" for different emotional and physical effects.
Essential oils are powerful tools to promote healing. Their aromas stimulate the part of the brain that affects emotion. Essential oils can be sedating or stimulating, some relieve pain and muscle tension, and most oils are antibacterial.
Aromatherapy combines with the healing power of touch. The oils are massaged into the body and are absorbed into the skin, permeating skin and the capillaries, entering the blood stream.
This holistic treatment benefits the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Aromatherapy is particularly effective for:
Stress
Psychosomatic induced problems
Circulation disorders
Immune system disorders or weakened immune system
Muscular and rheumatic pains
Digestive disorders
Women's problems, such as PMS, menopausal issues and postnatal depression
Toxin removal because of improved lymph flow
'My husband and I really enjoyed body massage with aromatherapy provided by Anastasia. It was a very relaxing feeling during the massage the feeling afterwards was just amazing! The whole body felt younger and lighter as if after a couple of weeks of good holidays. We would love to have massages regularly and do recommend Anastasia to all our friends.'
